Emma Pillsbury - Co-Founder
Emma Pillsbury is a filmmaker based in New York City. She grew up figure skating for Team USA in the Metro-Detroit area, which has shaped a large part of her life and work . Her I Am Never Having Kids has garnered nationwide acclaim playing at the Ouray International Film Festival as well being featured on Roger Ebert. In the 2019, Emma was president of The Arthouse (award winning film club based in Chicago). She hosted notable filmmakers such as Pedro Costa and Johnny Ma.
Arian Behpour - Co-Founder
Arian Behpour grew up in Philadelphia as a first-generation Iranian immigrant. Currently, Arian resides in Brooklyn, New York. Arian studied Cinema Arts & Science at Columbia College Chicago where he met his collaborator and partner Emma Pillsbury.
David Foy - Cinematographer
Originally from Kaneohe, HI, David Foy is a Director of Photography based in Brooklyn, NY. David’s approach as a DP is uncomplicated, emotional, and effective. His debut feature film, Waiting for the Light to Change won the Narrative Feature Grand Jury Award at the 29th Slamdance Film Festival in early 2023. It has since been theatrically and virtually released by independent film distributor Freestyle Digital Media. It was featured in Esquires “The 65 Best Movies of 2023” list.
Connor Hargreaves - Music Videos
Connor Hargreaves is a director and steadicam op from Reading, Pennsylvania. Connor is the director of Life’s Question’s latest music video. He has done steadicam work for events, music videos, and short films. Even working with artists such as Childish Gambino.
Madison DeCorey - Production Design
A director born in Rochester Hills, New York who studied Film & Media studies at Ithaca University. Madison was the production designer on The Blessing where she helped realized a worn torn America.
Ben Barantschik - Producer
Ben Barantschik is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker. He was exposed to a variety of influences throughout his life, having been born in Amsterdam and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, to two Soviet violinists with connections to Russia, Ukraine, Korea, and Uzbekistan. Though immersed in music since a young age, he found a calling to film when, at the age of 17, he first watched Andrei Tarkovsky’s Solaris.
Matt Maloney - Director of Post-Production
Matt is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker with a degree in Television and Radio, specializing in Audio Production, from Ithaca College. He has spent his career shooting and editing music videos that have garnered ten of thousands of views on Youtube.
